When the truth surfaces and passions ignite, will love be the only thing that survives?

My Rating:
My Thoughts:
I don't read many MC books so I wasn't sure what to expect since this one was centered more so around a female MC. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how this went. The writing was amazing, the characters all complex and different. That ending...such a cliffhanger.

Tamara, aka Durty, was the female protagonist for this book and I enjoyed her. She was scared by her father and ex-husband, but was saved by Lace. By day she was real estate agent and by night she was down her the club. Durty seemed to have a lot of mental and emotional issues to deal with. One minute she was sweet and kind. The next she acted like a rich snob. I enjoyed that though she was from money, she didn't allow it to take control of her life. I loved her boldness when it came to men disrespecting her. She knew how to stand her ground and fight back.

Brett, aka Sting, was an absolute amazing guy. I loved him for his heart. He was a caring and loving man. He knew how to keep club business separate from personal business. He was hardworking. He knew how to protect what was his and he never backed down. I liked how vulnerable he was for a man, especially being in a MC. I loved him.

The romance between Sting and Durty was beautiful. I liked that though they were from two different worlds, they had common ground with being in a motorcycle club. The two of them were perfect together. Durty allowed Sting to be vulnerable. Sting allowed Durty to be her true self. They were a great match.

Lace was a crazy woman, but I loved her! She was like a mother to her club, the Angels. She cared deeply for broken women and helping them change their lives. Viper was crazy as well. I loved her military background and how ready she was to always fight for her sisters. I loved all The Angels. They had such awesome club names as well -- Stellar, Stiletto and etc.

Steel and The Rojas were some tough men. I adored their admiration of The Angels. They were like the big brothers to the ladies. Steel was such an amazing guy. I loved all he did for Lace. That scene with Xander made me cry!!! I am happy Vader got what he deserved, but that plot twist...oh my.

Overall, this was a fun read that had a mix of blood, romance, laughter and joy. Definitely recommend it.
