Synopsis:
El Diablo strikes no fear in the heart of Dusty O’Donovan. The accomplished rider knows life holds much greater fears than a feisty stud bull. Diablo’s owner, Zach McCray, is offering half a million dollars to anyone who can stay on him for a full eight seconds. That purse would go a long way helping rebuild Dusty and her brother’s nearly bankrupt ranch.

Let a woman ride his bull? Not likely. Still, the headstrong Dusty intrigues Zach. Her father worked on the McCray ranch years ago, and Zach remembers her as a little girl when he was a cocky teen. Times change, and now she’s a beautiful and desirable young woman. A few passionate kisses leave Zach wanting more, but will Dusty’s secrets tear them apart?

My Rating:

My Thoughts:
Great read. It was quick, smooth and dirty. Loved the characters, the romance, the tears and the drama. Helen Hardt is brilliant in her writing and creating gripping stories. I want to give this a 5 star rating, but it was definitely fast paced. I wish it was slower simply because that buildup was so intense, but everything was so fast.

Dusty is a brazen young woman. She fears no animal or man because she fears worse. She has the same thing that killed her mother, but she works hard to overcome it and get the finances on her own. She is hard working, genuine, loving, strong and just all around amazing.

Zach is a hot cowboy. He is very intelligent having gone to a very prestigious school. He has one brown eye and one blue eye which I find extremely hot. He is amazing and persistent. He is the perfect guy to break down a woman's defenses and walls. He is caring, genuine and knows what he wants out of his life. I loved his cocky attitude. Zach was pretty awesome.

The romance was quick, but beautiful. You have two friends that grew up together and reconnected as adults. You could tell from the start that Dusty and Zach had a strong attraction and heavy chemistry. You could see that it was something that had to have been in their minds as kids somehow. I loved that Zach knew he wanted Dusty and chased her down. Dusty was absolutely amazing in her love and how she thought she doing the right thing for Zach. I loved that no matter what Zach went after his woman.

That ending was absolutely beautiful!!! I love that they had their happily ever after tenfold and was given an amazing chance at the best life that they could have together.
