My Rating★★★★★

Quote I Like:
"Wait for a second,” he said, his voice earnest. “Jessica, you have to know you’re not alone in this. I’m not going anywhere. Ever. I’ll stand by your side and we’ll take care of this threat together, just like the last one—and just like the next one. We’re stronger than the opposition" - Rourke

My Thoughts:
Such a shocker for me. A lot of action and a ton of secrets within the Sects. It was great seeing how the author eventually made everyone like each other and work as a team. Definitely something powerful behind that. This book was definitely better than the first two in the series and has me so in love with Werewolves. Amanda Carlson is a great writer and definitely did a great job on the series. Now, I wonder how it all ends. Will they save Tyler? Will the Vamp Queen become godlike and/or fae after drinking Jessica's blood?! Will Jessica ever rise to the occasion and accept her rule as "Queen" of the Supernatural world? Who in the hell created these cursed werewolves? Will she kick the Prince of Hell's ass? So ready for the next book!

- Spoiler Alert -
The way it started with the orbs from the sorcerers was incredible. Had me on the edge of my sit. Thankfully Tally was there to help them run. Then finding out that James went rouge only to find Marcy who is his mate is outstanding. Love just can't seem to be denied in this series.

Jessica going to the Vamp Queen's home and willingly becoming a hostage was crazy, but at the same time it was a great advantage for her as she saved Naomi and Ray, killed Vladov, saved the Queen twice and got help from a fae (The Vamp Queens kinsmen who was locked up for years and attacked Jessica to be healed) and ghosts.

I was definitely freaked out by the Screamer. I don't think I would ever want to see or read about one again. I'm just confused as to how it became Conan...still hazy with the details of that scene after Jessica and Rourke crawled up the vent.

Finding out that Ray was not only a vampire bonded to Jessica, but also a reaper...wow. With his new found skill he saved Calum and was able to kill a demon and a cursed werewolf. Ray definitely is the man!

The one thing I hated...the Prince of Hell taking Tyler to the underworld just to get Jessica down there. That was a bitch move, but with the help of Ray and the Vamp Queen, Tally can get Jessica and the two of them down to the Underworld to save Tyler.

Will they save Tyler in time? Will Jessica fight the Prince of Hell? Will the Sects eventually accept who she is and why she was born?

Excited for the next book to be released! This series has me hooked!
