Beautiful follow-up!!! Ed, Cinder and Alexis are all back together and struggling with their differences. High Fey, Goblins, Wild Hunt, Witches...you name it. Many of my favorites are back and of course some not so favorite characters.
I love Cinder! He's ruling over the World Below and doing a fine job at it. He's struggling with his kind and getting used to them, but he's pushing through the way he knows how to. Ed is also struggling with living in the human world. Both of them must learn to coexist in their correct worlds and they learn a lot along the way.
Alexis is such an awesome big sister and her affinity for magic rocks! She cracks me up. Mr. and Mrs. Carter are great as parents. They are trying to get used to the truth concerning their sons and they are handling it pretty well.
Whick cracked me up the whole time! He and Alexis are pure comical relief for me.
Smite and the Fairy Queen are A N N O Y I N G! They both got what they deserved in the end.
Overall, I was pleased with this and definitely annotated my favorite parts as I read. Definitely enjoying this graphic novel. I hope there's a book three because the way book two ended...there NEEDS to be a book three.

Ethan was raised in a small town in Utah. Growing up, Ethan’s favorite things to draw were monsters and whatever dinosaur he liked that week. He now does more or less the same thing for a living. Ethan lives in New York City with his husband, Matthew, and their dog, Kitsune.
