As LA’s hottest up-and-coming chef, Alexa Montoya is known for her ruby red lipstick and her history of falling for the wrong kind of men. When a confrontation with a loser ex-boyfriend lands her in some legal trouble, she’s forced to call lawyer, Dante Perez, to bail her out…again. Only this time, Dante seems different, somehow. More assertive, more sexy, more…irresistible.

Dante is tired of seeing Alexa with guys who only break her heart. He’s watched her--and waited for her--long enough. His plan? He’ll seduce her into finally believing that there’s something deliciously right between them. But first, he’ll have to prove to her that he’s not just another of her fly-by-night boyfriends. Luckily, Dante already has a plan. After all, every good lawyer knows that sometimes it takes an unconventional approach to win the day…and the girl!

My Rating:

My Thoughts:
This was a pretty good read. I can't give it a full 5 star rating, so it's definitely a 4.5 for me. I enjoyed the writing, characters and drama. Definitely plan to read more from Sabrina Sol.

Alexa is a chef who dreams of opening her own restaurant and she's also an impulsive person that falls in love quickly. She always falls for the wrong guy, while she pushed the right guy away. I enjoyed Alexa because she may have been shy and afraid at times, but she was still spunky.

Dante is a lawyer who has been in love with Alexa since their college years. He's a very sweet, hardworking man...the ideal perfect guy. I loved him from start to finish.

The romance was beautiful I loved the second chance romance between them. They were absolutely adorable together and the sex between them was on fire. I love how they balanced one another out.

I hated Nick, Alexa's ex. He was a total douchebag. Overall, I do recommend this book.
