Fall into Fantasy begins next week so it's time to get into my TBR for the readathon. If you haven't seen my previous post about this readathon I will give you some info quickly:
I tried to pick books that were not included on my original November TBR list and here are the four I decided on:
Caraval by Stephanie Garber completes challenge one: a new series. I started the first chapter but never finished and really want to dive into this series.
The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black completes challenge two: been on your TBR for too long. This has been on my TBR since it came out in 2013...that's 5 years.
Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa completes challenge four: a diverse fantasy; challenge five: multiple povs; challenge six: a new fantasy and challenge eight: booktube recommended. This book just came out last month on Oct 2nd, follows two POVs and is a Japanese inspired fantasy. I also came across this book from Jessethereader and Elliot Brooks and Upside-Down Books on YouTube.
Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard completes challenge seven: a sequel. I read the Red Queen in 2016 and gave it a 5 star rating so I'm definitely ready to dive back into the series and read the sequel.
As for the buddy reads being hosted I may try to give either of these two a try depending on how my reading goes with my four picks:
Give the Dark My Love by Beth Revis is being hosted by EmmmaBooks
Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C. Dao will be hosted by Hailey In Bookland
Beasts Made of Night by Tochi Onyebuchi will be hosted by NayaReadsandSmiles
I am definitely interested in reading these books and hope that I can read them during the readathon.
Penguin Teen is hosting a readathon and I am so for it! The Fall Into Fantasy Readathon will take place from November 18th – 25th, with the goal of reading at least four fantasy books off your TBR pile! Now let's dive into the challenges and the books I plan to read during this week:
