I adored the romance within this novel. This was a classic enemies to lovers trope and I adored how humorous it was. The writing flowed and made the story seem very realistic. I did however wish there was more to this than how it skipped from the last chapter to the epilogue.
Preston Evans is a man of many words and as an ex-marine he also knows how to work hard. Nothing gets handed to him as people think. A sex-tape made him famous, but it destroyed his privacy and his relationship with his father. Everything about Preston made me laugh. He was a straight-forward man, hot and knew how to treat a woman.
The romance was perfect. Though it was quick between the two of them I enjoyed how Yessi tried to fight the attraction she felt. They were so perfect one another and were able to learn from each other.
Hugh was a bastard and I'm glad he got what was coming to him. I still feel like Yessi and Preston should have both gotten a good punch or five in for all the damage he did.
Overall, I enjoyed the story and can't wait to read more in this series.
