Bout of Books 23 - Day 4

Hello book nerds!

Back at it for Day 4 of Bout of Books round 23 is here! Yesterday was just a fantastic day of reading for me! Let's hope for another great day of reading.
Bout of Books
For those of you who have never heard of Bout of Books, here's some quick info about it:
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 20th and runs through Sunday, August 26th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 23 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team

Let's knock out this challenge for the day...

Challenge

Share books set in places you want to visit. Make a road trip of settings in the US or a dream vacation. Or you can think outside the box and choose fantasy, paranormal, historical, or sci-fi setting. Like Hogwarts!

This is definitely one that I can do!!!! So I'll share 5 of my favorite settings from books I've read that I'd love to visit:
  1. Brazil courtesy of the Werelock Evolution series by Hettie Ivers. I just need a dip in the beach with those fine brothers Alex, Al and Kia.
  2. The Republic from the Nevernight Chronicles by Jay Christoff. I'd love to met Mia Corvere!
  3. Any pirate ship that has Alosa from Daughter of the Pirate King on it. Tricia Levenseller did a phenomenal job with that girl!
  4. The mind of J.R. Ward -- I mean who wouldn't want to be in her mind. Her worlds are always amazing with such fantastic edible men...
  5. The Grishaverse because Leigh Bardugo is freaking awesome!
These are just a few of the places I'd love to visit if humanly possible!

Where'd you go on your book trip?
